Manaslu National Park

Manaslu National park lies in the west-central part of Lamjung district of Nepal. Manaslu height is 8,156 metres, is known as the eighth highest mountain in the world. Manaslu means "Mountain of the Spirit", comes from the sanskrit word. The Nepalese Government only permitted trekking of this circuit in 1991.

Manaslu National park offers a variety of trekking options. The popular Manaslu trekking route of 177 kilometres, skirts the Manaslu massif over the pass down Annapurna. The trekking trail follows an ancient salt-trading route along the Budhi Gandaki River.
Its altitude ranges from 1,000 m to more than 8,000 m. This park contains four of the five highest mountains in the world. Most of the northern part of this park includes dense forests, valleys of the Barun River, great waterfalls and deep gorges.
It contains more than 3,000 flowering plants. Also about 67 species of medicinal plants and aromatic plants are to be found here. This park is the home of more than 50 species of animals and 400 species of birds.

Detail Itinerary of Chitwan Jungle Safari

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m.)
You will be received by our representatives and will be transferred to hotel. After checking into our rooms, stay Overnight in hotel Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour.
Half day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three places: Kathmandu: Swayambu Nath Stupa, famous hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa , Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Chitwan.

Arrive, meet and transfer via boat across the Narayani River to Resort. On reaching resort, our guest relations officer will brief guest.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride.
8:00 p.m.: Dinner.

Day 04: Chitwan Jungle safari Activites.

Day 05: Chitwan to Kathmandu.

5:30 a.m.: Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.
6:00 a.m.: Bird Watching
8:00 a.m.: Breakfast.
9:30 a.m.: Departure.

Day 06: Final Departure from Kathamandu.
