Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m.)
You will be received by our representatives and will
be transferred to hotel. After checking into our rooms,
stay Overnight in hotel Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour.
Half day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three
places: Kathmandu: Swayambu Nath Stupa, famous hindu
Temple of Pashupatinath and buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath
Stupa , Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Arrive in Lhasa (3650m.)
Fly from kathmandu to Lhasa (3650m) by air. Transfer
to hotel overnight stay at hotel .our local English-speaking
tour guide and private van, then, transfer you to the
hotel (3 star hotel ).
Day 04: Lhasa sightseeing tour of three places: Potala
Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor street.
In the morning to visit the famous Potala palace and
explore the mythical halls, exhibition chambers, figures
of the Buddha. As the symbol of Tibet, it was built
in 641 AD and was the winter palace of Dalai Lama . Impressive Tibetan architecture, huge
golden Buddha statues, red-robed lamas and devoted pilgrims
all make it a must-visit. In the afternoon, visit to
the holy Monastry in Tibet – the Jokhang Monastry, which
was built during songtsen gompo’s period by princess
of wencheng in Great Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).The circular
pilgrim way around Jokhang Monastry is named barkhor
and later flourished, forming the embryo of the city.
The barkhor market is one of the most famous sites throughout
Tibet, and it is the ideal place to buy traditional
Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books,
Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and traditional
Tibetan clothes, etc.
Day 05: Lhasa sightseeing tour of two places: Sera
Monastery and Drepung Monastery.
Full day Lhasa sightseeing tour, Drepung monastery was established by Jamyang Choeje
in 1416. It lies at the foot of a holy mountain. It
was used to the home of 10,000 monks and it was the
centre government before fifth dalai lama. Then the government
was moved to the famous Potala palace. later on, you
can also visit the Nechung monastery which located 1km
southeast of Drepung and is the abode of the protector
deity pehar and the seat of the state Oracle of Tibet.
In the afternoon, go on visiting to the Sera monastery
which was founded in 1419 by Jamchen Choeje (a follower
to Songtsen Gonpo). The highlight is that the Monk debate
is held there in the courtyard at around 6:00-7:30.
Day 06: Lhasa departure (by train or air).
Hotel check-out & pick-up by your guide and driver
again, then transfer you to the airport or train station,
lovely tour ends.
